Promo-LEX Association has won the EaP CSF Civil Society Award at the December 2019 Brussels Annual Forum

For the Republic of Moldova, the 11th Annual Assembly that took place in Brussels between the 4-6 of December, was an occasion to demonstrate to the European Union, the Eastern Partnership and the Civil Society, the hard work our organisations do in order to fight for democracy, freedom and prosperity.

This year, the EaP CSF Civil Society Award was presented to Promo-LEX Moldova, that since 2002 aims to develop the democracy in the Republic of Moldova, as well as the transnistrian region, by promoting and defensing the human rights, monitoring the democratic processes and consolidating the Civil Society.

Ion Manole, executive director at Promo-LEX, received the award on behalf of Promo-LEX Moldova .

”Please let me dedicate this prize to my team. To all my 32 colleagues, who during the last 17 years are dedicated to building peace and democracy and to promote EU values in Moldova. Through the efforts and courage of my team, we continue to promote the trust in the democratic processes and International Institutions.”, Ion Manole declared.

”This prize is a recognition of our work and it will serve as a great motivation to continue our efforts to implement internation EU standards in Moldova, but at the same time it’s a huge responsability for us, as I hope that our activities and results will inspire other organisations to fight for the democratic perspectives of the future in the EaP region.”

The EaP CSF Civil Society Forum award recognises outstanding and courageous work of individuals and organisations from the Eastern Partnership region contributing to the political, economic and social development of their countries and defending the core democratic values.
